Mr. Coritsidis, as a member of the maiden six year Urban Legal Studies Program, graduated law school at the age of 22. As a young assistant district attorney in Manhattan, Mr. Coritsidis was a junior trial counsel in a double homicide which was featured in Dead Man Talking: An Autopsy Special (HBO 1981).
Mr. Coritsidis was an investor, founder and organizer of Marathon National Bank of New York, at the age of 29. Although Mr. Coritsidis considers the practice of law his passion, he and partner, Peter Lambros, have also founded successful investment companies including the RAJ Group and Xyston Group LLC.
As a Transactional attorney, Mr. Coritsidis has worked on sophisticated transactions ranging from the acquisition of a radio station in Alabama to the organization, sale and merger of financial institutions, as well as real estate transactions ranging from development deals to Manhattan office skyscrapers and condominium and cooperative conversions.
In 2009, Mr. Coritsidis chaired the Enforcement Agreement Committee, organized under the supervision of the OCC, to remove a federal institution from an enforcement action. Mr. Coritsidis worked on the project, directly with regulators, consultants and key bank personnel. Under Mr. Coritsidis' leadership, a new chief credit officer was hired and all submissions relating to procedures, financial reporting and planning and staffing were prepared, edited and submitted. The OCC Assistant Deputy Comptroller congratulated the committee for the quality and exceptional timeliness of the submissions and the dramatic shift the committee made to the culture of the bank.
Mr. Coritsidis still assists in the litigation being handled by the firm, and when necessary, steps is as trial counsel too. He has practiced law in a multiplicity of venues and jurisdictions; as well as before administrative and arbitral bodies. He has tried dozens of jury and non-jury trials in the Supreme Court of the Counties of New York, Queens, Nassau and Westchester; the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of New York; and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. He has also argued appeals before the Appellate Division First and Second Departments; and the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit of New York.

Mr. Lambros' business acumen, reflected in his entrepreneurship and his representation of clients is a consequence of his first professional incarnation in finance, being hired by Gruntal & Company upon graduation. Desiring a more hands on approach to transactional work, Mr. Lambros elected to go to Law school, following which, Mr. Lambros brought his business background to Mr. Coritsidis' then solo law practice and quickly established himself as one of the most active and knowledgeable real estate transactional attorneys in the City of New York.
Mr. Lambros has represented financial institutions ranging from out of state banks, mortgage banks, Freddie Mac, and private lenders. Still, his main focus is serving the acquisition and financing needs of his bank clients, and substantial real estate owners and developers. Mr. Lambros represents international investors.

Mr. Gangemi's baptism of fire in the Manhattan litigation world began under the tutelage of his first boss and mentor, Jeremiah S. Gutman, Esq. Mr. Gutman, a founding member of the New York Civil Liberties Union, whom the New York Times called in 1994 Aa fixture in Manhattan's civil liberties bar for 40 years . . .,” represented a host of high-profile litigants including Abbie Hoffman and Jerry Rubin, the Hare Krishnas and the Rev. Sun Myung Moon. Ironically, Mr. Gangemi=s mentor groomed him well to deal with, appreciate Band when necessary, properly channel- the egos, idiosyncracies, non-conformity, and passion of successful New York businessmen. Moreover, Mr. Gangemi's intelligence and practical sensibilities, borne of his Brooklyn pedigree, provide him a distinct advantage in dealing with adversaries, clients, judges, juries, and generally, people.
Mr. Gangemi has litigated cases in the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and various Counties of the Supreme Court of the State of New York. He has submitted and argued appeals in the Appellate Division of the New York State Supreme Court, and has tried commercial cases to verdict.
Mr. Gangemi has represented institutional and private lenders in commercial and residential mortgage foreclosure actions in all the five boroughs of New York City, as well as Suffolk, Nassau, Orange, Chemung, and Sullivan Counties in the state of New York. He has extensive experience in negotiating loan workouts and forbearance agreements. He has also litigated numerous actions to enforce promissory notes and guaranties, and defended lenders from claims of fraud and violations of state and federal law. Mr. Gangemi also regularly represents institutional and individual purchasers and sellers of both performing and non-performing loans.
In keeping with the broad needs of our clients, Mr. Gangemi has spearheaded complex litigation relating to contracts, condominiums, shareholder disputes, employment, labor law, construction, commercial leases, and compelling insurance coverage.
